The Building
and Grounds Division seeks to promote and support a
high quality of life for the citizens of Sanford by
providing professional, efficient, and cost effective
services, which exceed their expectations in the areas
of general maintenance and repairs to City owned buildings,
parks, greenways, and right-of-ways.
The Division’s specific duties include providing
facility, turf, and grounds maintenance for the City.
This Division currently maintains eight offices and
storage buildings. The Division also administers contractual
services for HVAC maintenance, pest control, janitorial
services, and other facility maintenance up-keep.
